Course Details
This course will enable you to gain a general book-keeping qualification, while at the same time offering an introduction to Sage - the accountancy software now used by over half a million UK businesses.
As well as learning the essential principles of book-keeping covering all the key areas including how to record transactions, how to input and customer and supplier details, how to edit the nominal ledger, how to record income and expenditure, how to follow the correct procedures for banking and invoicing, and how to keep VAT records. It also provides an introduction to Sage Instant Accounting Solutions.
You will need no prior knowledge of Book-Keeping, but by the end of your training you will be qualified to apply for a job as a Sage Book-keeper - the kind of job that could easily pay you up to £35,000* per annum.
Note: Latest Sage computerised book-keeping software v12 is supplied.
At the end of your Sage computerised book-keeping course, you can sit for either the Certificate in Book-Keeping, awarded by the Institute of Certified Book-Keepers the largest book-keeping association in the world with over 150,000 members, or the Oxford and Cambridge Certificate in book-keeping.
This course will add value to your CV by demonstrating your commitment to your own personal development, as well as demonstrating your skill and competence as a trained book-keeper with a sound working knowledge of Sage.

At the end of each chapter of the Sage computerised book-keeping course you may complete an optional assignment and submit this to your tutor.
Most students can complete the Sage computerised book-keeping course within approximately 120 hours of study.
